Beef and Pepper Rice Bowl

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef
1 onion, diced
2 bell peppers, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ginger, grated
2 cups cooked white rice
1 tablespoon sesame oil
Directions:

Cook the Beef:
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, and sauté until softened.

Add the Sauce:
Stir in the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, and grated ginger. Let the mixture simmer for 2-3 minutes to allow the flavors to combine.

Cook the Peppers:
Add the sliced bell peppers to the skillet and cook until tender-crisp, about 3-4 minutes. Drizzle the sesame oil over the mixture for added flavor.

Assemble the Bowls:
Spoon the cooked white rice into serving bowls. Top with the beef and pepper mixture.

Serve:
Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions for extra flavor. Serve with a side of steamed vegetables or miso soup for a complete meal.
