Lasagna

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef
  • 1 jar spaghetti sauce
  • 8 oz (225g) cream cheese
  • ¼ cup (60g) sour cream
  • 1 cup (250g) cottage cheese or ricotta cheese
  • ½ cup (115g) butter (1 stick)
  • 16 oz (450g) spaghetti
  • Shredded Cheddar, Parmesan, or a combination of both

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook spaghetti until al dente, drain, and set aside.
  3. Mix cream cheese, sour cream, and cottage cheese in a bowl until smooth and well combined.
  4. Brown ground beef, then add spaghetti sauce and mix well.
  5. Layer spaghetti, cheese mixture, and beef in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  6. Dot top with butter and bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
